The general purpose of the Privacy Policy is to obtain informed consent from the user for the disclosed uses of the users’ personal information. The purpose of the ‘legally compelled disclosure’ clause is to obtain consent for disclosures of the personal information when the company is required by law to disclose the information, or when the company determines that it needs to use the information to enforce its rights under the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use against the user, or to deal with any other suspected prohibited or illegal activity. The intent of this clause is that the use of the personal information for the purposes listed in this clause will not be a breach of the agreement between the user and the company, or the privacy laws.
